Threads of Awakening
Asteria: Threads of Awakening is a passion project I´ve been working on for some time now. The story of Asteria is the first of a multi-novel series sci-fi/fantasy epic set in the alternate world of Earth 2000. It follows cosmic twins Yuna & Mona, who crash land on Earth after escaping an unknown celestial threat. Their arrival activates dormant planetary powers within a select few of humankind, awakening destinies tied to ancient celestial threads.

Prologue
Long before Earth had breath, before even the stars sang their songs, the Sun and Moon fell in love. They were not just orbs in the sky, but celestial sovereigns—great beings of flame and glow, of certainty and secret. The Sun, radiant king of life, and the Moon, his silver-veiled queen, watcher of dreams. From their union came a promise, woven from light and shadow:
A vow to protect the sleeping blue jewel— A world called Earth.
But they could not walk the mortal lands themselves. The Sun’s touch would burn it to dust. The Moon’s sorrow might drown its skies. So, from their boundless love, they spun something new:
Twins of light and twilight, born from the core of their hearts. The people of Haloin named them Asteria.
One with the blaze of morning, One with the hush of night. Two halves of a single breath. Sent not to rule—but to watch, shield, and guide.
Whenever Earth cried, whenever its harmony tilted toward ruin, the twins would awaken—called by a whisper only they could hear. Falling like comets, they descended not as gods, but as guardians cloaked in starlight. Their eyes held galaxies, their veins the pulse of celestial flame.
They would walk among mortals. Learn their ways. Love them. And when the time came, they would rise together— To protect Earth once more. No one questioned it. It was how the story always went.
Two would arrive.
Two would protect.
Two would return to the sky.
And so the people waited. Watched. Prayed. Until one day…
Two stars fell again.
One burning gold, one glowing silver. And the tale began anew.
The Asteria twins had returned
